Meet Our Team.

  • Natasha Bivens, CEO & Founder

Natasha founded the Magpie Foundation in March 2021 when she realized many of her veteran neighbors in Montana lacked basic living infrastructure like running water, insulation, electricity or septic systems. Natasha wanted to make a difference without involving government bureaucracy or other agencies so she started the foundation which is aimed to raise money for projects that would directly impact these veterans. The foundation was formed to raise money to fund goods and services, and ensure they are installed at the veteran's home. The foundation is also involved in helping veterans obtain the benefits they deserve from their service, and assisting with community service projects that benefit local veteran communities. The foundation also sets aside funds for scholarships for high school students who pursue education or training after high school.

As CEO, Natasha is responsible for overseeing Foundation business, coordinating with local partners, and contributing innovative new ideas for community improvements.

While not managing Magpie Foundation affairs, Natasha works as the principal attorney at Fairweather Law Group, PLLC.

  • Dru Bolender, COO

Dru joined the Magpie Foundation as soon as she turned 18 because she wanted to make a difference in her community. She brings a fresh perspective to each brainstorming session and critically assesses the feasibility of each project. With her exceptional skills behind the computer screen, Dru is able to streamline each project from concept to implementation. Dru also designs the posters for our annual fall fundraiser, the Magpie Renaissance Faire, held near Three Forks, in Montana.

As COO, Dru is primarily responsible for coordinating events and managing our marketing efforts.

Dru is currently a full time student at Montana State University pursuing dual degrees in Business Management and Fine Art.
